Happy Valentine's Day!

Don and Pepo got Luke this Valentine. It is his first balloon.
Aunt Diane got Luke this bib. The train on it says, "Chew, Chew your food!"
We are having him wear bibs now because we think he is teething.

We have had a fabulous Valentine weekend! Friday night, Brock and I went out on a date. Luke had a grand time staying with Len and Denise, and then my mom! Saturday, we celebrated my grandfather's 81st birthday. We had ribs for dinner! Last night, Luke slept EIGHT HOURS!!!!! He did get up for a small bit, but he didn't require a feeding! I am sooo excited. We started Valentine's Day with cinnamon rolls and church. Then, we had lunch at my mom's with my grandparents. Now, we are finishing up our night by watching the Olympics!

Sweet Little Boy

We have had a rough week- Luke got sick early in the week and continued to get worse. On Friday, Brock took Luke to Dr. Wenger for the first time. He has RSV. So sad- lots of coughing and sneezing. We started breathing treatments on Friday and will continue them throughout the week. He is thankfully improving and amazingly has been happy throughout the whole process.

Breakfast with the Boys

Isn't this cute?

We had another great snow day! We drank more hot chocolate, watched the fire more, and relaxed! For supper, I cooked breakfast. This was the first time Luke joined us at the table independently! Thank you Denise for the bumbo seat! We have been using it like crazy.
To end the night, Luke and I made chocolate covered strawberries for Brock. We are looking forward to another snowed in day with a possible visit to Mom's for lunch depending on the roads.

Snow Day!

Let it Snow!!!

This is one of my favorite outfits of Luke's. It says, "I'm having a meltdown!" Thankfully, he wasn't.
I thought since it was snowing outside, we would wear our comfy gray sweats.
This is Luke watching the fire. He was taken with it.
We are having a FABULOUS day! We got ice last night, thankfully nowhere near the amount we got last year. This morning it changed over to snow. It has been snowing hard all day long and it is absolutely gorgeous! We have taken it easy by doing some snow day things- drink hot chocolate, eat a warm lunch, make a fire, and chill out! Luke is taking an afternoon nap now. I'm just enjoying watching the kids across the way roll down the hill and all of the snow falling. Brock's bank is closing soon and we are going to take snow pictures when he gets home! I will post them later.

New Things!

Today was a big day in the life of Luke Wooldridge! Angie took Luke to story hour at the library! I was so excited for him to be there. I hope he grows up to be a reader. She also tried him out in the bumbo seat! It worked, so we tried it at home tonight too.

A Growing Boy

Luke is now three months old! He has been up to lots of fun stuff. Here's a sample:

-Last Friday while feeding him a bottle, he raised up to a seated position!
-Luke attended three parties last week- Robin's going away party, Heidi's baby shower, and Kim Kellum's kitchen party. He had a good time at all three parties!
-He met Kallie!
-He's been to church two times. The preacher's voice and singing got his attention.
- Lots of smiling is going on! It's so cute.
-He gets the hiccups so easy, just like me. After three laughs, he's got them!
-Little boy is sleeping quite well- anywhere from 6-7 hours!!!!
-He likes to do laundry- when I fold clothes he watches every move the fabric makes.
-He is starting to take an afternoon nap that is longer than 5 minutes!
-We are getting in the groove of going to Angie's every morning. I'm so grateful for her.
-He is wearing size 3 diapers- yes, size 3. I don't know how much he weighs, but I'm guessing 15 pounds or maybe even 16.
-Luke is wearing 3 month separates and 3-6 month one piece outfits.

It's been another great month. I'm so blessed to have such a sweet little boy and to have so many people that love him!

Super Exciting News!

Luke has a new friend on the way!!!! Baby Knox will arrive in July! I am hoping for a baby girl that will be my daughter-in-law one day!

Birthday Dinner

Last night, we celebrated Mikka's Birthday! Luke was great during the whole meal and got to play with Peyton!

The Break is Over

After a long break from blogging, we're back! Tons has happened since Christmas- Here's the rundown.

We spent our first night away from Luke- unwillingly might I add. The day after Christmas Brock came down with the stomach bug, so Luke and I made a fast escape to my mom's house where Luke spent his first night away. He did very well! The next day I came down with the illness of death (DT's name for the stomach virus). I quickly left my mom's and came home to join Brock. THANKFULLY, Luke never got it! He had a fabulous time with my mother while we recovered.

New Year's was nice. Our friends Rick and Leah and their sweet little girl Madison Grace came to stay with us for two nights.

School started back on January 4th. This marked the end of maternity leave. Luke started staying with Angie Todd Branch. The transition went smooth and Luke seems to be happy and having a great time. I am extremely grateful to Angie for her excellent care! We got a great surprise that week- two snow days!!!!!!!!!!! Luke and I snuggled up most of those two days by the fire. It was fabulous. I couldn't have asked for a better first week back.

Luke found out that he is going to have three new boys to play and hunt with! Meredith is having twin boys!!!!!!!!!!!! and Sarah Sims is having Baby Jett. I am so excited.

The second week of school Angie was out of town with her family, so Luke stayed the mornings with Susie Cook and the afternoon with Paige! He got lots of loving and had a great week!

This weekend we got to see George and Rachel! George has grown so tall since we last saw him and is talking a bunch.

That's a quick wrap up of the last twenty something days. Tomorrow Luke will be three months and I will post pics of my cute little boy!
