Grocery Shopping!

Luke made his first appearance at a grocery store today! The great weather inspired us to grill, so Luke and I did the shopping. He took everything in and had a great time.

Brock's Birthday

Today is Brock's Birthday! He is on a fishing trip, so Luke sent him a birthday wish,

but it wasn't easy!

He was very interested in reading the card.

Then, he was very interested in eating the card.

Finally, I just put it beside him.

You can tell by the looks of it that it went through quite a bit!

Shoe Shopping

Yesterday, my mom took Luke on his first shoe shopping trip!

He has the cutest pair of tennis shoes now!

My Aunt Sarah got Luke this precious little outfit. He was loving posing in it.

Five Months Old

At five months, Luke is...
-rolling over tons- both ways
-talking like crazy
-laughing lots
-smiles all of the time
-really paying attention to where noises are coming from
-starting to pay attention to Peddler
-eating fruits and veggies at supper
-eating rice cereal at breakfast
-napping more
-sleeping in his crib now
-sleeping about six hours, sometimes seven, wakes up to eat, then sleeps about two more!
-wanting to sit up most of the time
-rubbing his eyes when he is sleepy
-splashing up a storm when he is taking a bath
-a wonderful little boy!

We've tried Luke in the exersaucer. He is loving it!

The rolling part he has his hand on is his favorite.

Traveling Man

Last Wednesday, Brock and I went to New Orleans with Rachel and Kris. While we were gone, Luke went all over the place. He stayed at Angie's in the mornings, Paige and Phillip's in the afternoon, and my mom's at night. On Saturday, he stayed his first night away from our house or my mom's- he slept over at Jake and Natalie's. He was a happy boy when we returned, I think he enjoyed vacation just as much as we did.

Aunt Diane

Luke's Aunt Diane (mine too) surprised with Luke with new clothes and the most precious St. Patrick's Day bib. And... she gave him his first pair of shades! Talk about too cool. We are very blessed to have such a great aunt who loves us a lot!

Luke has been trying out vegetables this week. So far, he has eaten carrots, peas, squash, and green beans. All of these have received rave reviews from our little boy.
