First Month
I have loved my first month with Luke. It has been the most amazing experience. I love so many things about him. Here are a few...
-He purrs like a little cat when he eats in the middle of the night.
-The way he stretches cracks me up.
-He makes a little face where her puts his lips together like he is saying oooo.
-He is easy going.
-He looks so much like Brock.
-He is a great cuddler! He curls his legs up when you hold him upright.
-His little hands are precious.
-The sounds he makes while sleeping are so cute.
-He is smiling for a short second.
During his first month of life...
-Luke went to prayer group at Natalie's.
-He ROLLED OVER!
-He is turning and looking at me when I'm talking.
-Luke went to his first party- Jax's baby shower.
-He attended his first birthday dinner.
-He went to his first restaurant- Brick Oven and his first drive thru- Dairy Queen.
-We tried the swing- he like it.
-He slept five hours in a row- Praise the Lord for rest!
-Luke has attracted many visitors!
Lunch Dates
This week Luke was a popular lunch date! Tuesday we had lunch at Couch's with Brock's family. Wednesday we went out to eat with my aunt Diane. On Thursday, Luke attended his first Civitan meeting. Friday, we went to a FABULOUS potluck at school (Picture above). And lastly- we went to Brick Oven today for lunch!

Home Alone
Today was our first day home alone and we made it! Brock came home at lunch, but otherwise we were on our own. I ventured out to Perfect Touch and Luke did great. We also went next door to visit our neighbor, Nana. And Luke is going to prayer group tonight for the first time. What a great day!

Three Weeks Old!
Luke at three weeks old! We stay very busy- always eating, washing, playing, etc...! He takes one afternoon nap at about 3:30 and that's all the sleep he wants during the day. The great news about this is he sleeps at night!!!! Right now we are on a great schedule and hopefully it will stay! I am so thankful. Brock took off work this past week to spend time with us. He was a huge help- I got to rest! Luke and I are on our own starting tomorrow. We are kicking it off with a bang- we are getting out so I can get my H1N1 shot. This will be the first time we go somewhere without help. Hopefully, we have a great week.

Turkey Time
Are these not the cutest outfits? I wanted Luke to have something cute to wear for Thanksgiving. I found these on Etsy.com and am very pleased. I got to pick the hair, skin, and eye color on the Indian outfit. I will post pics of him wearing them later.
First Fun Outing
Today we ventured outside of our house not to go to the doctor, but to enjoy lunch at Brick Oven! Luke did great and we had a good meal that wasn't rushed! We watched some of the game while we ate and hopefully will watch the Hogs win at home.
