Ice Cream!

In the past three hours, Luke's life got a lot more interesting! He had some of Brock's ice cream cone and went to Wal-Mart for the first time! He loved it all!

Last Week

Last week was very busy. I was at a conference Sunday-Wednesday in Hot Springs. So it was just boys in the Wooldridge house. I came home Wednesday and went for a late run with Peddler. Peddler stepped right in front of me and I fell. I ended up dislocating my shoulder. So the rest of the week, everyone has been helping us because I can't lift Luke. I am healing well and hopefully will be much better next week! The uplifting part of this week was... Friday was my last day of work for the summer!

Good News from the Doctor

On Wednesday, Luke went to the doctor for a checkup. He got a great report! He only needs one asthma breathing treatment a day now. Next month if he is still doing well, we will try going completely off of them. Dr. Wenger said his gums are swollen but no sign of teeth. The pictures above are us waiting for Dr. Wenger in the room and in the waiting room. We are so blessed to have such a caring and nice pediatrician in town.

A Trip to Jonesboro

Ava, Heidi, Luke, and I went to Jonesboro Friday night. We hit Target, Sam's, and the new Japanese Grill. We were very productive and had a great time too. The babies were great!

Eight Months Old!

Baby Luke is now eight months old! I can and can't believe it! Here's what he is up to:

~ Soooo close to crawling

~ Saying lots of sounds

~ Talking with his hands- my favorite right now

~ Eating oatmeal at his late night meal

~ Smiles when you walk towards him with a toy

~ Lifting his arms when we reach out to get him

~ Turns towards sounds being made

~ He weighs 21.1 pounds now.

~ He smiles and gets excited when I count to three in Spanish (It's our get up routine from

changing his diaper.)

~ Sounds like he says hi, hey, bye- although I don't think he knows the meaning

I am loving this age. He is getting to be so much fun.

Big Steps

We are trying a sippy cup now. I think he is ready for it. Tonight he just got a tiny bit of water out, but at least it is a start. Another big step- last night he spent the night with my mom just for fun. They had a good time together.

And the last big step- crawling is soooo close to happening.

Exciting News

Brock's Aunt Lee is in a new TV show- Persons Unknown! Luke was very happy while watching it! It is on NBC on Monday nights at 9 p.m.

A Good Sunday Night

Diane, Roger, and Mom all came over tonight! Luke got cute new clothes and a new toy that he loves- he's holding it in the picture.

Last night, we went to Bryce and Heidi's for supper. Luke played with Ava's toys.

Meeting Family

On Saturday, we went to the Wooldridge Family Reunion. It was Luke's first time outside of Arkansas. Luke got to meet lots of new family members! Everyone was so nice. It was a nice trip.

Luke was a ladies' man Sunday night!  We went to a cookout at Kimberly's.  Luke gave and got lots of love while we were there!

This weekend we moved Luke's crib down a notch.  He is getting very close to being mobile, so we decided it was time.
