21 Months Old

At 21 Months Old, our baby is...
-27.7 pounds
-feeding Peddler his meals
-Size 4 diapers
-Wearing 24 month old clothes, a few 18 month
-Putting his shoes up
-Buckling things like crazy, no unbuckling though
-Running
-Dancing
-Hitting- unfortunately
-LOVES Sesame Street, wants to watch clips all of the time
-Wanting to drink out of cups with no lids
-Wanting to sit in big chairs
-Putting some of his shoes on
-New words: Abby (Sesame Street), Elmo, bowl, mow (meow), baa (sheep), neigh, elbow, beach, sand, swim, shell, Diane, E (Berkli), Hay (Clay), E (Lee), Lucy, Jen Jen(Jennifer), Keith, peach, peas, buckle, hand, botball (football), tree, sky
-Can find: eye, ear, mouth, nose, teeth, chin, knee, toe, fingers, hand, cheek, neck, shoulders, and belly button
-Asks to hold our hands when going down steps
-Asking to go to the bathroom, but doesn't go
-Still wants to be held a lot- thankfully
-Goes to bed around 8:30 and sleeps till about 7.
-One good nap a day- around 2 hours in the afternoon
-Is starting to get interested in toy cars and trucks
-Wants his hands clean
-Wipes his hands, mouth, and nose off with a napkin
-Identifies our house, Peyton's, Paige's, my mom's, my grandparents' house when we pull up
-Likes wagon rides
-Loves to throw and kick balls
-Helps turn off his lamp at night
-He will clean up most of the time when asked.
-Has almost all of his teeth
-Has a new freckle on his chin
-Is a pretty good eater... veggies, fruit, breads, not really interested in meat, likes sweets
-He has had a little juice.
-He will stretch.
-Has a new friend- Josiah was born July 7.

I am loving this age. It is so fun to see him learning so much and having fun.
