The Name Game
After much conversation, we have a possible name. Luke Wooldridge! It's not set in stone, but I am hoping so!

Nursery Ideas

Here are my ideas for decorating the baby's room. I am planning on using the bumper pads, quilt, and mobile from this collection and then adding in my own sheets and accessories. The walls are a deep blue- similar to the edge of the quilt. Work begins tomorrow on clearing out the room! I'll keep you updated on the progress.
A Good Appointment and Fun News
On Thursday, my mom went with me to the doctor. I got a good report! The doctor said both the baby and I are doing well. Baby Wooldridge's heartbeat was in the 140's. Dr. Delacey said it is good to see a variation in the heartbeat rates. I go back on July 16th. It amazes me how fast the pregnancy is going.
Last weekend as I was falling asleep, I felt a little movement on both nights. It felt like light pushes for about a minute. On Thursday, the movements felt much stronger! It looks like the baby is practicing his soccer skills!

Meet our little boy!

On May 28th, we went for an ultrasound. We found out that we are having a little boy! We are thrilled. It was amazing to see his spine, kidneys, brain, and chambers of the heart! He has long legs like his father. He was quite still during the ultrasound, but we did get to see him rub his eye- second picture, stick his hand in his mouth, and stretch. I think he already looks like Brock.
To tell my kids at school the big news, I made cupcakes with blue sprinkles! They had voted the day before and were correct!

16 Weeks!
Baby Wooldridge is now 16 weeks old! We went to the doctor yesterday. The baby's heartbeat was strong (in the 150's). The doctor said we have a very active baby. On May 28, we will go back for another ultrasound. Then, we will know if it's time to buy pink or blue!

An Amazing Site

Our Baby at Eleven Weeks
Today was our second doctor's appointment! Dr. Delacey began by using the doppler monitor. I was super nervous because we couldn't hear the baby's heartbeat. Because of this, he took me in to do an ultrasound. I was glad Brock was there with me. We were shocked when we saw our baby flipping around like crazy. I was so relieved! It was hilarious to watch all of the twisting and turning. The baby's arms and legs were everywhere. It looks like we will have a gymnast. I'm extremely grateful to God for a healthy baby and a great turnout to our visit. Tuesday, March 31, 2009
Two Great Days

Our Baby at Seven Weeks
On February 22, we were surprised and thrilled with news that we were expecting! Our first doctor's appointment was on March 13th. At that appointment, we saw our baby for the very first time. The baby's heartbeat was very strong- 152 beats per minute and measured 1.52 cm. It was an amazing experience!
